Sally Mae (Nicholson) Cheeves

Mrs. Sally Mae Nicholson Cheeves, 83, of Milledgeville, died Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Navicent Health Baldwin.

Born May 13, 1936 in Spring Garden, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Namon Columbus Nicholson and the late Linda Kelley Nicholson.  Mrs. Cheeves was of the Baptist Faith and loved to read.  She also enjoyed fishing and travel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jason Cheeves and Myron Robertson.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Floyd Cheeves; daughter, Lynn Coleman and her husband Ned of Milledgeville; sister, Sarah Jennings of Spring Garden, AL; grandchildren, Tony Stapleton and Chris Cheeves; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Chapel with The Reverend Thomas Ward officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Monday, one hour prior to the service.
