Milton (Keith) Shipp

Mrs. Milton Keith Shipp, 81, of Bowdon, widow of the late Herman Shipp, died Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Carrollton Nursing and Rehab.

Born September 15, 1938 in Newnan, she was a daughter of the late Longino Keith and the late Lena Story Keith.  Mrs. Shipp was a homemaker and was the oldest living member of New Heights Baptist Church in Sharpsburg.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Shipp; brother, Jack Keith; and sisters, Frances Morrow, Edna Jacobs, and Cora Brown.

Survivors include her daughters, Melody Newman (Ernie), Deborah Settle (Michael), and Tina Cook (Mark Newborn); sister, Virginia Banks; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Gregory Scott Morris officiating.  Interment will follow in New Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
