Elvie Hudson Obituary

Ms. Elvie Wallace Hudson, 84, of Newnan, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at her residence.

Ms. Hudson was born on May 12, 1935 in Newnan, to the late J. C. Wallace and the late Mary Ella Smith Wallace. Elvie was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed a good meal and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, J. D. Wallace, Roy Wallace, Paul Wallace, Ralph Wallace, Horace Wallace, Mae Robert, Lucille Cannon, Lillian Barnes and Elsie Wallace.

Survivors include her daughter, Beth Devlin (Ronny); son, Lewis Hudson (Martha); grandchildren, Tammy Hudson, Chris Hudson (Nicole), Darrell Stasiulaitis (Taylor), and Matthew Stasiulaitis; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Hudson will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel with Reverend Kevin Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
