Edna Mae (Creel) Ledbetter

Mrs. Edna Mae Ledbetter, 92, of Grantville, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Ledbetter was born on November 9, 1926 in Atlanta, to the late Joseph Creel and the late Etta Creel. Edna had an entrepreneurial spirit and had numerous rental properties, that she owned and operated for many years. She was a strong, sassy, independent woman, who truly loved her family and will be missed by them all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Artis Ledbetter; sons, Jimmy Ledbetter and Gary Ledbetter; 1 sister; and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Perkins (Jerry), Jenny Marler (David),  Linda Zaske (Tommy Jones), and Tracy Turner (Alan); son, Terry Ledbetter (Joan); grandchildren, Micheal Perkins , Wendy Holcomb ( Eddy) , Katrina Self (Mike), Jason Kinney ( Rachel) , Steven Zaske (Beth), Heather Watts (Michael Money), Ryan Turner (Stephanie Cox), Christina Forslund (John), Karissa Turner, Shelley Womack (Alan), Ashley Segall (Max), Kayla Ledbetter, Austin Ledbetter; great grandchildren, Talon Holcomb (Melanie), Hunter Holcomb, Isabella Holcomb, Austin Kinney, Bryanna Kinney, Christian Self, Zachery Self, Dakota Zaske, Kale Zaske, Braydon Watts, Kinsley Money, Kailyn Money, Karson Money, Ansley Turner, Caden Cox, Bentlee Forslund, Blaklee Forslund, Finnlee Forslund, Jake Womack, Ava Herndon, Julian Herndon; great-great grandchildren, Elijah Holcomb, Ava Holcomb, Savannah Whiterner; and daughters-in-law, Deb Blackwell and Mitzi Ledbetter.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ledbetter will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel with Reverend Jerry King officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome All Cemetery in College Park. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
