Brayden David Gardner, age 7, of Newnan, went home to be with his heavenly Father and Creator on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at his home after a life-long battle with Mitochondrial DNA Disorder and other complications.
Brayden was born on November 21st, 2011, in Huntsville, AL, and was adopted into the Gardner family in August 2017. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Nelson Blosser and great-grandfather, James Kadidlo.
Brayden is survived by his parents, Matt and Kristie Gardner; siblings, Rebekah Gardner, Rachel Gardner, Sarah Gardner, Seth Gardner and Kacelynn Gardner; grandparents Karen Blosser, Thomas Gardner and Kay Gardner and great-grandmother, Caroline Kadidlo, as well as many cousins and beloved aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at 11:00 AM at East Newnan Baptist Church with Dr. Anthony P. Langley officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. The family will receive friends and family Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel in Newnan.
