Bessie Mae "Becky" Morris

Mrs. Bessie Mae “Becky” Morris, 91, of Newnan, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Morris was born on January 23, 1928 in Atlanta, to the late Joes Backus and the late Bessie Howse Backus. Becky owned and operated ABC Daycare for many years and later in life made her living as a caregiver. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Saundra Kellum; son, Ricky Morris; 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Stoughton; sons, Bennie Reid Morris Jr. (Kim Morris) and Randy Morris (Sherri); grandchildren, Taunia, Tommy, Tyler, Haley, David, Fallon, Bennie Reid, Slate, Brazen, Montanna; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Thelma Bradley, Jackie, Ethel Mathis.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 1717 GA-154, Sharpsburg, GA 30277
