We have been made aware of a scam where someone is calling family members posing as Hillcrest Chapel employees and demanding payments over the phone via third party payment services such as Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal, etc. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel will never call and ask for payment in this way. All of the families we serve leave the funeral home with a clear understanding of our charges and payment policies. Contact us if you receive such a call and report it to the Newnan Police Department.
